Art! Costumes! Sugar Skulls! What isn't to love about Ofrenda 2009, an art show and Day of the Dead celebration at the Torpedo Factory in Alexandria, VA. I have a few pieces in the show ("nichos" and a painting), alongside some great DC-area artists. Am still planning my Halloween costume and working up an appetite for pan de muerto.
